Trade problems in LA
Just a few minutes ago my husband was selling a mini bone dragon and had got an offer. He put the mini and submitted offer....the other submitted the gold. It said that the other guy accepted it but when my husband accepted the trade it had cancelled. My husband's computer is beside mine and I witnessed the whole thing. They tried about 7 or 8 more times and still when my husband pressed accept it would just cancel.
I got on my character to see if the trade would go through and it did fine. I was just wondering if anyone here has seen this before, because that was the first for me. Thanks, kbealow PS please let me know if this is some sort of scam...but I'm not sure since it said that the other guy had accepted the trade...maybe it was his computer or something |

Your husband might have had too much gold in his character's inventory to accept the offered gold, or the buyer had too many items in his bag.
A lot of times it can be used as a scam, always double and triple check what is being offered before hitting accept. |

sorry about that.....he only had 11k on him and he asked 60k so not it wasn't too much gold cause that was the first thing I looked for.
oh and another thing...my husband ask the guy if his inventory was full and according to him he said no. |

it could very well be possible that the person was trying to scam him by canceling a few times then putting in a lower amount of gold, be very careful when trades wont go thru, it could NOT be a technical thing.

you can put minis in equipment packs, that's where I bury most of mine
otherwise the other guy's inv was full, and as majik mentioned it could have been an attempted scam |

it had to be some sort of scam, because my husband sold the mini and the trade went through just fine. Thanks everyone for reading this. You all have always been supportive. |

Yeah he was looking to rip you guys off. The trade system always works in succession with the server and between the players. So if someone immediately cancels or says their trade is not working or showing up or something it's an instant scam. Especially if they asked to go out and drop it, my rule is if you can trade without problems thats good but if you get "problems" and it's on the other person's end just close it and walk away from them.

Drop the Bone Dragon? It definitely sounds like this guy was trying to scam your husband. Thankfully, it also sounds like you and your husband are not that dumb. Good for you.

The other day, just as I was leaving after ferrying a couple of people. I told them it was a free ride. One person was nice enough to give me 500g, and the other person offered as well. But they scammed me. Personally it didn't matter to me since I did mention in Party Search that it was free. But rude for them to offer gold and take it back.
How it happened is that they opened trade, and the window said 500g from the other player. I press accept ,and presumed it was a tip. It was canceled. No big deal but I've had this happen a couple of other times, and I find it hilarious, because people try so hard to steal from other players. What they do is open trade, other player accepts, then they cancel. Sometimes they achieve their item that they're stealing, or they fail. Good job you two for not falling for their failed attempt to scam your hubby. |

If it don't go through 3 times, assume the guy is trying to scam you and stop trying to trade with him.

undoubtedly a scam but trades will also cancel if the recipients inventory is full.
